RADIO PULSE Who are we? Starting from the need of young people to express their opinions and emotions through digital tools, which are becoming increasingly important for human interaction and connection and bearing in mind the need to develop and support processes of permanent participation, which are free and consistent with European values and programs, the young members of the Prilep Youth Council initiated the process that led to the creation of Pulse Radio (www.pulseradio.mk), an internet radio station, the first of its kind in the Prilep region, with the aim of hearing and connecting young people throughout Europe through the creation of European Digital Radio Network. Internet radio was founded with the support of the US Peace Corps Volunteers and represents one of the most sustainable projects not only at the regional but also at the national level. Pulse Radio is a place where young journalists from Prilep took their first steps in radio journalism and production over the past 12 years. With its 24-hour program, it enables young enthusiasts to improve their journalistic skills, to create their own radio shows, contributing to the enrichment of musical and cultural life. Bearing in mind that the media and freedom of speech are the main pillars for a more democratic society, MSP continuously strives to find more channels and tools that provide the freedom to express the interests of young people while at the same time increasing their communication, digital and journalistic skills. A creative place for young people in Prilep, which provides opportunities and space for raising the capacity of young journalists and music artists. Here you can find a variety of music, live shows, community news, remote broadcasts, educational segments and talk shows. Mission To give voice to young people, strengthen their sense of participation and provide a space in which they can support their personal and cultural development through music and entertainment, while strengthening the civic and cultural life of communities. Pulse Radio provides technical and human capacities in support of young people who directly broadcast their prepared radio shows oriented on a variety of topics, while promoting a fair and equal society, non-discrimination, tolerance, justice, solidarity and equality.

What could be the reason there is no sound?

1. Make sure your speakers and the media player are not muted :) Not an uncommon problem ;)
2. Please try again in another browser, preferably Chrome, Firefox and when using a windows media player option Internet Explorer.
3. Try another stream type clicking: windows media player or external player as alternative
4. Be patient, some radiostations load within 10-20 seconds due to high traffic issues.
5. If you do not have any flash player we automatically load the second best player, so again be patient.
6. If the stream doesn't start automatically please click the play button or the mp3 option on the right, please retry 1,2 or 3 times. Most of the times this works.
7. If you are using a windows media player, this will mostly only work in Internet Explorer.
8. A radiostation might be temporarily unavailable due to several reasons. If your favorite station is not working right now, please try again in a few moments.
9. The media player isn't showing/working in your browser, check below what you can do about it
10. Try another computer or device (tablet, phone etc).
11. Some radiostations have limited rights for international broadcasting. Some stations only broadcast in their own country. For example BBC in the UK and lots of stations in the US. If you really want to listen use a proxy server from that specific country to solve this problem.
12. Report this issue using our Broken Link page or send an email to [email protected]. We are able to see if there is something wrong.

Why do I see a grey screen?

Probably this is caused by an popup adblocker

Stream keeps on buffering
In Windows Media Player you can improve this. Go to Extra, Options, and then tab performance to extend the netwerkbuffer to 15 seconds.
